What are some ways to use a dumpster?

Residential Clean ups

If you’re anything like the rest of us, you probably have a few more things laying around the house then you wish you did. Reality is we like to hold onto things by nature. It causes your home and storage areas to become consumed with things you no longer want or need and over months, years, and even decades it can become overwhelming. If you allow us to help with your project, you will likely find that it unlocks a sense of excitement for the newly reclaimed space you’re about to get back.

Construction Debris

The 15 yard dumpster service provided by Clarion Area Dumpsters is perfect for remodeling and smaller construction projects. We can drop off a dumpster for your kitchen or bathroom remodel. Stop taking multiple trips to the dump with a bundle of trashcans behind you fill with tile or drywall. Reserve your dumpster today and watch how easy it is to simply bring your unwanted materials to the driveway one time and never touch them again. We aim to help our local construction crews as best as we can.

Yes. Our 15 yard roll off dumpster will fit in most standard driveways.

Flat, hard surfaces, like a driveway, are the ideal placement for the dumpster. You should avoid surfaces such as slopes, city streets without a permit, soft ground and property that isn't your own. You must ensure your dumpster placement is safe and secure.

While you do not need to be home for the delivery, please be sure to clearly inform us where you'd like your dumpster rental placed.

Yes. Dumpster availability is very good in the snowy season. We do ask that you clear the space ahead of time to ensure traction in your driveway.

The truck drives onto a scale at the disposal facility where an initial weight is recorded (gross weight). The truck then empties the contents of the dumpster and returns to the scale. On the way out they weight the truck again, but this time with an empty dumpster on the back (tare weight). The scales are regulated by the state bureaus of weights and measures.

Hazardous, medical, or industrial waste. Anything liquid such as as, but not limited to: Chemical products, paint, liquid food, gas, oils, etc. Propane tanks or ANY compressed tanks of any kind. Anything contaminated or containing asbestos. Dead animals. Tires. Large batteries. Large electronics such as computers and televisions. Contaminated soil, cement, dirt, sod.

Please read our entire terms of service to be sure you follow our guidelines properly before renting the dumpster. Some things may not seem important to you now, but for the safety of our drivers as well as the other drivers on the road, and the workers at the disposal facility it is important you follow the process outlined to ensure we are all compliant with legal and safety standards. Some of the common issues would be: Overloaded on weight (anything above the 2 tons included will be billed at $150 a ton additional), not loaded properly (the dumpster should be loaded to "water level" at the top, meaning nothing should be seen above the dumpster if you are looking at it from the side), and any cost occurred by the company due to the clients lack of following the terms of service. All liability for the items in dumpster remains on the customer until disposed of safely and properly.

Although driveway damage is unlikely, please be aware of the possibility of damage caused by the weight of the dumpster and the contents placed in the dumpster. We recommend that you place 4'x8' sheets or 2"x4" plywood on your driveway where the dumpster will be placed. The wood will prevent the dumpster from scratching or cracking the driveway. Please take proper precaution to protect your driveway!

Dumpster permits are typically only required when placing a dumpster on public property such as a street, easement, or sidewalk. please contact your local township office or public works department to determine exact permit requirements for your specific situation. Permit requirements can vary within the same town based on placement specifics!

Please call us at (814) 226-4445 to schedule any changes or additional dumps.
